There really nothing much to do over here in Brunei. Went to eat dim sum this morning at a restaurant... food was not bad... think except eating and using Internet, there nothing to do here. Unless I travel to Sarawak or Sabah... But i cannot go coz i'm new perm staff.... wait till 3mths later. if only mummy knows how to use internet, that will be so great.... It will be more convenient and cheaper... heard from sis that she cried half way during family dinner on wed... oh oh... think she will be fine once she starts work again....

Today is my first off day in Brunei. Now inside a internet cafe. Time pass quite fast and it has been almost two wks. So far so good, i'm adapting well to the environment here. Life here is very different from Singapore, as in the way people work here. In fact on the second day, I was treking in the jungle with my instructors here. I must say that the people here are very friendly, espec my colleagues. They are doing alot to help me settle in... Hey, actually I know some of my colleagues before hand...

Though camp is very far away from city, its very peaceful, simple and quiet unlike Singapore. The scenery here is very nice... You can see endless green pastures and mountains. Last wk, I sat on a helicopter for the first time... Something which i dont think i get to experience when i'm in singapore... Besides that, everything is good... It is really a good experience. These few days, seem to miss home a little. Now i understand why people say home is always the best. Think as i get more busy, it will be better, no time to get homesick or think of other stuff... Hope by end of my tour here, i will have meet one of my objective, which is clear my mind from unhappy stuff in Singapore.

This will be my concluding entry before I leave for Brunei. Feeling a little emotional, have many things to say. When I was young, I always like to visit the airport, looking at planes flying away. There were times where i see family members crying when sending their loved ones off. Now my turn has come, something which i never thought i will go through. But i do hope that no one will cry that day, espec mummy....

Till this day, many people are still wondering why I'm going especially when its to Brunei. Sad to say, I have no definite answer for them. I gotta miss my dear family and friends who were so encouraging and supportive. I was glad that mummy gave her full support coz she knew that once I make up my mind, there no way to change it.

As for my Tj clique, its really a pity that its getting smaller and smaller. First Elsa fly off to Sydney to further studies, Wesley mysteriously lost contact and now its me. Well, i hope the rest will still keep the bond going strong and don forget Sydney trip 2006.

Haha... My dear friends from RSS, Zihui, ShuHui and LiYing who have walk the road with me for the past 10 years. Its certainly not easy to keep in cotact after so long but i glad everyone made the effort to try to do that. Really miss the days we had supper at 85 and just sit down and chit chat till wee hours... It seems that we just have endless things to talk about. A friendship I will cherish for the rest of my life.

Lastly, my buddies from Bedok Camp. They are great people to hang out with and i miss days when we were out marching under the hot sun. Thanks for helping to cover up my share of sai kang when i'm busy with audit. Hope all will take good care. Best wishes and God Bless!Happy Chinese New Year to all in advance!

Sis just call to inform me that her chinese wedding dinner is to be held at Goodwood Park Hotel on 26 Feb 2006. Its a nice date and most prob i will be back by then from brunei already. Now my cousins can materialise their dreams of wearing cheongsams on the big day. Well, still unsure if I will be back for her ROM on 2 Aug, will try my very best to be back that day. Hmmm.. I think i can start to think of what to wear on her big day... Hehe... *grinz*

Just came back from my secondary school class gathering. Didn't tell them that i'm leaving for Brunei. I think not very neccessary, anyway its only a short one year. Realised that Yu Shi's flight is on the same day as me. Hers is at 8pm while mine is much later. Think I will go down to send her off first. She going to be away for 3 years, studying fine arts in Tasmania, Australia. She chose something very different from the usual but I must say she is very talented in that area.Not many people turn up for the gathering, only got me, KengWee, Su, Ying Xia, Yordia, Shelby and Zhi Ying. It has been very long since I last saw them and its so great to be able to meet them up... Some sort of bonus too before I leave. Shall post up the pics later when i receive them...

Mummy keep waking me up yesterday morning, refusing to go to work before i wak e up. Haha... it was coz i told her to wake me up... Went to the bank to settle some stuff, after so much waiting and again waiting during my turn. Nowadays, Singaporeans are rather rich, Hehe... from what i heard in the bank...

After that went to Hello@Tampines to settle outstanding broband issues with them... They kept me waiting again... I was getting a little frustrated coz i hav been waiting the whole day...After settling stuff at Tampines, decided to head to camp to pick up some of my stuff back home.

Went to run at Bedok Reservoir in the evening. I guess i have lose my stamina liao after not runnig for bout 2 months... After running, i was like very tired... This means that i'm going to run again today to build my fitness...

Meet up with Li Ying, Zihui, Shuhui for dinner, or shd i say supper... I was glad that we were able to meet up. Think they are all very tired from school liao... There, i break out the news to them and actually LiYing had sort of expected it... Haha.. We had a good time laughing and talking about the past plus updating each other about recent events. very grateful that i have them as my friends... tks Shuhui for your testimonial, but i really remember anything about the 3 8 ju le bu... Hehe...

The day has finally come after many sleepless nights. I think i remain rather calm throughout the whole briefing. At least I managed to absorb all the facts especially regarding pay matters. Haha... I won't deny that there is a little part in me which does not want to go coz i really miss my friends and family. But i think i shd be responsible and walk the road i chose.

So ya, will be flying off early morning on 14 Feb, and really very early, 2am in the morning. 14 feb happens to be sis's birthday too. That reminds me that i need to get her a gift. Hehe... Its really good that I will be able to spend Chinese New Year at home with my family. Think mummy will be most glad... But The big problem comes. I dont know how to tell mummy that i going off soon. She thinks that i'm not going anymore since theres no news for so long....

Think its time to do shopping again and meeting up with all my old pals...
